Briefs are a fairly modest type of underwear, generally sporting high armor values and at least some sort of concealment for players with all but the most enormous penis sizes. Briefs, along with panties, thongs, and g-strings, will periodically increase the player's hip size when cursed, and if the player is male, periodically reduce penis size. Panties have similar armor values to briefs, but tend to be much less plain, so if the player ever finds themself harassed by a fairy, their briefs may get "downgraded" into panties. Different colors of briefs have additional effects, but the ones without said additional effects can make for great long-term underwear.
