=Time Updates=&lt;br /&gt;
Whenever the player &amp;quot;passes time&amp;quot;, it causes a certain amout of seconds to pass. Not every action passes time, and some actions pass more seconds than others. Here&amp;#039;s what happens (in order) when any time at all passes:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* Check if the player is about to [[Faint]], and have them faint if so.&lt;br /&gt;
* Check for any objects that interacting with the player and if they don&amp;#039;t exist, end the interaction.&lt;br /&gt;
* Handle the next turn&lt;br /&gt;
** Progress the game timer by the amount of seconds that are passing.&lt;br /&gt;
* Check if the player is [[Breathing|holding their breath]], and log whether they are or aren&amp;#039;t able to.&lt;br /&gt;
* Update the player&amp;#039;s [[:Category:Class|Class]]&lt;br /&gt;
* Handle [[Flight]]&lt;br /&gt;
* Handle [[Fatigue]] gain/loss, [[Fatigue#Buckling|Fatigue Buckling]], Active [[Dildo Pole|Dildo Poles]], and [[Glue]] escaping.&lt;br /&gt;

==Periodic Game Effects==&lt;br /&gt;
Periodic game effects are checked in the following order:&lt;br /&gt;

==Early Time Rules==&lt;br /&gt;
Early time rules, are a series of procedures the game runs through &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;before&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; monsters get to do anything. These rules can be further separated into normal and global rules, or &amp;lt;code&amp;gt;time based&amp;lt;/code&amp;gt; and &amp;lt;code&amp;gt;all time based&amp;lt;/code&amp;gt;, respectively. Normal rules don&amp;#039;t run while the player is in the [[Slut School]] region, while global rules run irrespective of region.&lt;br /&gt;
