[[:Category:Clothing|Clothing]] can be very beneficial for protecting the player's body from unwanted viewing or [[Combat#Submissive Sex|intrusion]], however, having the player's chest or crotch covered [[Lactation|isn't]] [[Orgasms|convenient]] [[Bladder|in]] [[Bukkake|every]] [[Magical Attributes#Dressup|situation]]. While simply removing the relevant clothing is a valid option, it's always more convenient to partially remove the item by [[Commands|Displacing]] it. Game mechanics that want or need access to the player's body will often destroy or rip clothing that's in the way, but if the relevant area is displacable, sometimes they'll simply move it instead.

=Top Displacability=
When a piece of clothing's top is displaced, it is usually treated the same as the player wearing a garment that is [[Clothing Cut|fully exposed]], [[Clothing Damage|Ripped]] at the top or [[Clothing Coverage|chestless]]. New items of the same type still cannot be summoned into that slot, though [[Transformation]] will still work.

Top displacability can be separated into the following categories:
* Displacable (<code>top-displacable</code>) - The top is displacable, and it must be displaced, removed, ripped, or destroyed, before the player's breasts are accessible.
* Optionally Top displacable (<code>optional-top-displacable</code>) - The top is displacable but it doesn't need to be displaced for [[NPC|npc's]] to access ([[Titfucks|tittyfuck]]) the player's breasts.
* Not Displacable (<code>not-top-displacable</code>) - The top can't be displaced at all, and must be removed, ripped, or destroyed to make the player's chest accessible.
* Not Displacable, but still fuckable (<code>not-displacable-always-fuckable</code>) - The item can't be displaced, but [[NPC|npc's]] can still access the player's breasts in some situations.

=Bottom Displacability=
When a piece of clothing's bottom is displaced, it is treated similarly to when the player is wearing something that is [[Clothing Coverage|ass exposing, crotch exposing]], [[Clothing Damage|Ripped]] at the crotch, or [[Clothing Coverage|bottomless]]. New items of the same type still can't be summoned in the slot occupied by the clothing, but as noted above, [[Transformation]] still works.

Bottom Displacability can be separated into the following categories:
* Displacable - This item is bottom displacable, and the only way for NPC's to access the player's crotch is if the item is displaced, removed, ripped, or destroyed.
* Unzipped (<code>zippable</code>) - This item is not technically displacable, but can achieve a similar effect by [[Commands|unzipping]] it, rather than pulling it aside.
** One difference is that unzipping clothing is possible when its [[Glue|glued in place]].
* Not Displacable - This item is not bottom displacable, and if it covers the player's crotch, the only way for NPC's to access the player's crotch is if the item is removed, ripped, or destroyed.
