Arousal is the most fluctuating stat in the game, going up and down a lot as various events occur. The main things that make it go up are sexual [[Arousal#Stimulation|stimulation]] and later on, [[humiliation]]. Arousal will slowly cool down over time (as long as the player isn't being actively [[NPC|stimulated]] by [[:Category:Sex Toy|something.]] While in the past, the player's maximum and minimum arousal levels were influenced by the player's raw [[Sex Addiction]] score (that is to say, the player's sex addiction before temporary modifiers are applied), sex addiction currently only influences the player's minimum arousal level.

Arousal has a few different impacts on the player. Low levels of arousal might be considered beneficial, as the lowest two levels of arousal increase the player's dexterity. However, starting from the second level of arousal, arousal gains will begin to decrease the player's intelligence (It is decreased by 1 for every 3000 arousal gained past the first 2000). Arousal also influences the way the game calculates the player's sex addiction score, and makes the player more likely to be affected by mechanics that can force the player to masturbate.

=Erections=
If the player has a penis, they have a chance to get an erection whenever they gain arousal. This chance goes up the more aroused the player gets, and goes down depending on [[Anal Sex Addiction]], [[Erection Obedience Level]], and how recent the player's last orgasm once. The player will lose their erection whenever they lose arousal or have an orgasm (usually).

While the player has an erection, npc's are more likely to [[Groping|touch]] the player's penis, and it is twice as hard for any given piece of clothing to cover up the player's junk. Depending on penis length, having an erection can also make the player more or less likely to succeed at [[Combat#Dominant Sex|dominant sex]] (larger erections being more helpful, smaller erections being detrimental).

=Stimulation=
One of the most common ways for the player to get turned on is for npc's to touch their body. Different body parts are more sensitive than others, and depending on the player's [[Specific Addictions|addiction levels]], sensitivity levels can vary.

==Passive Stimulation==
Some types of stimulation will turn the player on, but cannot make the player cum. Often happens during dominant sex scenes that involve the player [[Combat Sex#Shameful Quality|messing up]] in some way.

=Orgasms=
When the player gets aroused enough, they receive enough stimulation, or they experience a special event, they can have an orgasm. During an orgasm, the player's arousal will reset, and the player will ejaculate (if they have a penis).

==Shameful Orgasms==
A shameful orgasm happens when the player climaxes for some reason beyond their direct control, like magic or [[Combat#Submissive Sex|submissive sex]]. Even if the player contributed heavily to the conditions that led to the orgasm, like bending over in front of a [[Minotaur]] or masturbating in the middle of sex, the orgasm will still count as shameful if the thing that pushed the player over the edge was not under the player's control. Shameful orgasms will usually force the player to kneel, increase [[Sex Addiction]], and as the name implies, [[Humiliation|humiliate]] the player.

==Non-shameful Orgasms==
There are two main ways for the player to orgasm in a non-shameful way.

The ''first'' way is [[Masturbation]], which has a risk of making the player's future orgasms [[:Category:Chastity Bond|much harder to obtain]] in exchange for being very easy to do. If the player is in the middle of submissive sex and they are about to cum, masturbation can sometimes save the player from the consequences of a shameful orgasm. On the flip side, masturbating at the wrong time can cause the player to have a shameful orgasm they otherwise wouldn't have.

The ''second'' way is to have [[Combat#Dominant Sex|dominant sex]]. The player can often orgasm during dominant sex scenes, but depending on [[Combat#Domination_Quality|certain factors]], there is still a risk of the player having a shameful orgasm instead of not cumming at all. Additionally, the player must defeat an npc before they can attempt dominant sex, and there is usually a [[Combat#Failed_Dominance|chance of failure]].

==Ejaculation==
If the player has a penis, they will ejaculate whenever they orgasm, producing cum that can stain the player's [[:Category:Clothing|clothing]] or make a [[Puddles|puddle]] on the floor. Players with very big penises ejaculate a lot, while players with very small penises will barely ejaculate at all.

==Ability To Orgasm==
Some items and game mechanics can prevent the player from having orgasms. This can be helpful if the player wants to avoid a shameful orgasm, but increases the chances that when an orgasm does occur, it won't be under the player's control.
