MG: /* Reasonable Target */

There are five broad action types that NPC's can take in combat, Sex, Priority Moves, Taunting, Punishments, and Regular Attacks, and they prioritize each action type in order. If an npc is fucking the player, then they always choose to do that. If they have a super secret special move, then they always do that instead of a normal attack. There are also some unique things that the player can do to npc's after defeating them.

__TOC__

NPC Sex
If the player is having submissive sex with an npc, the npc will always use their action to keep or finish fucking them. The npc will generally stop fucking the player once they are satisfied, but might stop early if they are somehow getting removed from the picture, or the player uses their safe word. Their behavior can vary depending on whether they are hostile, however. See Submissive Sex.

NPC Priority Move
If the npc isn't having sex with the player, then the npc will use any "high priority" moves it has access to. Not every npc has one of these moves, and these moves will generally involve the npc doing something to themselves, rather than the player. For example, the Royal Guard raising his shield is a priority move.

NPC Taunting
If the npc isn't having sex with the player, and they don't have any high priority moves to make, they'll have some special reaction to the player being in a compromising position, if they have one.

Types of situations that npc's like to taunt the player over (in order of priority):
* Flight
* Sex
** if the player is kneeling, npc's will also react the same way if the player is masturbating
* Dildo Pole
* Caged
* Stuck in a Trap (besides a cage or a dildo pole)
* Player is busy
** The "taunt" in this case is usually just that the npc will wait for the player to finish what they're doing, but some npc's (like the Demoness) have a special reaction.

NPC Punishments
If the npc isn't able to taunt, continue sex, or use a priority move, then they will try to do something to a player they've defeated. For the most part, this means initiating Submissive Sex.

Types of punishments (in order of priority):
* Dick Detachment
** Chance of happening if the npc is a Dick Detacher.
* Latex Punishment
** Only if the player is at level 5 Latex Transformation or higher.
* Use Pullstring Collar
* Recover Stolen items
* Bondage Application
* Unique Punishment
* Sex Attempt

Bondage Application
Bondage Applier npcs will sometimes punish the player by making them wear a Bondage Applicable item (like Wristcuffs, but only if Bondage Protection is disabled, and the player is Unlucky.

Unique Punishment
A unique punishment is some unique punishment behavior that an npc will want to do instead of trying to have sex. For example, a Gladiator might try to stick the player's head in smoke.

Sex Attempt
The npc attempts to begin Submissive Sex, which has two parts, Orifice Selection and Insertion.

Orifice Selection
Besides "unique punishments", npc's have seven different types of sexual interaction they can go for. If the player requested a specific type of sex, then the relevant body part must be an reasonable target for that npc, and the player needs to be charismatic enough that the npc will want to listen to them. Npc's maing their own choice of orifice will pick an actual target body part for that npc, which is essentially the same, its just affected by Desirability.

Potential Target
An npc can only pick each interaction type if they are *willing* to have that interaction type, and the interaction type makes logical sense. (e.g. npc's can't pick vaginal sex if the player doesn't have a vagina).

Interaction Types:
* Oral sex
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Oral
* Anal sex
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Anal
* Vaginal Sex
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Vaginal
* Licking Sex
** Requires that the npc be Willing to do Licking
** Grossness Fetish must be enabled.
* Titfucks
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Titfucks
* Riding/Handjobs
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Dicks

Reasonable Target
A body part is a "reasonable" target for an npc if it's a potential target, and it's possible for them to access it. A Royal Guard, for example, can easily remove a ballgag that's blocking oral sex, so the player's mouth is a reaonsable target for him, even if he can't access the player's mouth yet. A Sex Doll, on the other hand, couldn't remove a ballgag like that, so the player's mouth wouldn't be a reasonable target for it.

Global Rules:
* If a body part is occupied by another npc, or a trap, that generally means it can't be accessed by a new npc.
** A Mannequin targeting the player's mouth is an exception, since she's only doing your makeup.
* If the body part is protected by a Concealment Salve, Illusory Kimono, or Pentagram Tattoo, it isn't accessible unless the npc is immune to magical concealment.
* The relevant body part is not occupied.
* If the body part is occupied by a toy, like a dildo or a Ballgag, it blocks the npc if:
** The toy is cursed or locked, and the npc is not able to remove cursed toys.
** The npc can't remove toys at all.

Rules unique to each interaction type:
* Oral Sex & Licking Sex
** If the player's motuh is occupied by something, it must be able to be torn off.
* Titfucks
** If the player's chest is covered by any clothing that protects the player's breasts, that clothing must be eitehr displacable or able to be torn off.
* Anal Sex
** If the player's ass is covered by clothing, it must be at least one of the following:
*** Rippable
*** Able to be torn off (i.e. not Indestructible)
*** unzippable (only for intelligent monsters)
* Vaginal Sex
** If the player's vagina is covered by clothing, it must be at least one of the following:
*** Rippable
*** Able to be torn off (i.e. not Indestructible)
*** Not a Vaginal Seal
*** Not a Chasity Belt
*** unzippable (only for intelligent monsters)

Actual Target
A body part is an actual target if it's a reasonable target for the npc, and they aren't distracted by a different body part. For Slut Immune npc's, there's no difference between this an a reasonable target, but for other npc's, it depends on exactly how desirable their desired sex type actually is. See Desirability.

Insertion
Insertion potentially ends with the npc penetrating the relevant body part, but only once all obstacles have been removed. The more obstacles the player has protecting their body, the more turns the npc will need to spend getting them out of the way. See Submissive Sex for the specific behavior npc's take when attempting insertion with different body parts.

Clothing Attacks
The first way npc's removing obstacles is by attacking them. If they're after the upper body, they'll attack the top sections of clothing. If they're after the lower body, they'll go for the bottom.

NPC attacks have the following effects (in order)
* (Bottom half only) Unzip zipper.
** intelligent npc's only.
* Unlock Locked Clothing.
** This is a temporary unlock.
** intelligent npc's are usually the only ones capable of unlocking things.
* Pull on the clothing. Outcome depends on the npc's level vs the armor (bottom half) or bust coverage (top half):
** Clothing is displaced (unlikely to happen if Fasion Victim is enabled)
*** Not all clothing is displacable.
** Clothing is ripped (unlikely to happen if Fasion Victim is enabled)
*** Not all clothing is Rippable Clothing.
** Clothing is torn off.
** Clothing is destroyed.
* Clothing is weakened.

Tearing Clothing Off
Npc's can also remove clothing by outright tearing it off, though Unremovable, Locked or Indestructible items can't be removed this way. Npc's also can't tear things off if they aren't capable of destroying clothing. If the npc successfully tears off the item without destroying it, and they're intelligent, they'll hold onto it. Otherwise, they drop it on the floor.

NPC Attacks
Most npc's share the same basic types of attacks; Strikes, Tripping, and Grappling. Strikes usually increase Body Soreness, tripping knocks the player prone and is more effective if the player favors Kicking, and grappling restricts player movement and is more effective if the player favors Slapping. Most npc's also have one or two special attack that's unique to them, which they mix in with the others.

Attack Targets
Generic attacks and sometimes special attacks will target a specific part of the player's body. Possible targets include the player's face, hips, arms, belly, thighs, and breasts. Attacks aimed at the player's breasts and face will do extra damage. Attacks aimed at the player's face will do extra damage, and if the player has a mouthful, will force the player to spit it out. Similarly, attacks aimed at the player's belly will cause expulsion if inflation is enabled.

Generic Attacks
Most npc's have an attack where they attempt to hit a part of the player's body. The npc will roll a number based on its Level against the player's Dexterity, and if the number is higher than the player's dexterity, the player will be hit by the attack. A typical attack causes 1 body soreness and 2 body soreness if it hits a particularly vulnerable area (like the face.)

Accuracy Rolls
Accuracy rolls are mainly used in generic attacks, but also come into play in several special attacks. Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

accuracy_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

blind_accuracy_offset = sum of two random numbers between 0 and 6

combat_speed_modifier = random number between 1 and the internal modifier for combat speed

level_threshold = monster level + 6

sight_accuracy
=
level
+
accuracy_offset

blind_accuracy
= (
level
+
blind_accuracy_offset
) / 2

If the npc is blinded, then the
blind_accuracy
roll is used as the roll. If the npc is not blinded, then we only use our
sight_accuracy
as our roll if it's lower than the
level_threshold
. If
sight_accuracy
does end up being higher, than the "roll" will be a value that always hits. The
combat_speed_modifier
adds a progressively higher chance to miss depending on Combat Speed.

Tripping
If an npc has the ability to trip the player, the chance that they try will go up every turn they go without making an attempt (happens roughly every third attack.) Depending on the player's Intelligence, they may be able to notice when an npc is about to try and trip them. NPC's don't become more likely to trip the player if they have been slapped more than 3 times in a row. See Tripping.

Grappling
If the player has slapped an npc more than three times in a row, certain npcs will become more likely to try grabbing the player by the wrist. The player has a Dexterity-based chance to avoid being grappled, and it becomes harder or easier to avoid depending on how many times the npc has been slapped in a row (i.e. if you stop punching them to kick them every once in awhile, you won't get grabbed as much.)

Once grappled, the grapple will either expire after a few turns or the player can resist to break free from the grapple early. The npc will make a strength roll to hold onto the player when they resist, and if their roll exceeds the player's Strength, the player will fail to break free.

Strength Rolls
Strength rolls are mainly used when escaping from grappling, but also come into play in some special attacks. Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

power_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

strength_roll
=
level
+
power_offset

Special Attacks
Almost every npc has a couple special attacks they can use instead of generic ones. Some of them work similarly to generic attacks but do more damage, and some of them have additional effects like the Deep One's lightning bolt. NPC's will try to hit the player with these attacks using a variety of accuracy, strength, and intelligence rolls.

Intelligence Rolls
Intelligence rolls are mainly used with npc special attacks, especially in the Mansion region. Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

mental_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

intelligence_roll
=
level
+
mental_offset

Defeating NPC's
When the player defeats an npc, and there are no other dangerous npc's nearby, they will be presented with a few options for dealing with the monster. These responses are "taxing", "pitying", "banishing", and "dominating". Some npc's automatically handle the circumstances of their defeat.

Automatically Handled
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Robots
* Slut School NPC's
* Supporter NPC's
* Cultist NPC (Mindless cultists only)
* Xavier
** If the player has 3 or more magic power, knows divination, and has forced him to wear a condom through the seduction minigame, the player will get a chance to dominate him as well.
* Demoness
** If the player has 2 or more magic power and knows divination, they will have a chance to "pity" or dominate her as well.
* Herald
* Djinn
** If the player has the Magic Lamp or it is nearby, they will have a chance to tax, "pity", or dominate him as well.
** The Djinn's banishment ends with him escaping to somewhere else on the current floor, not with him being removed from the game.

Banishing
Players can permanently remove defeated npc's from the game. For most npc's, this is permanent.

Impermanent Banishings
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Mechanic
** He still disappears forever when he transforms
* Patron
* Royal Guard (
prison guard
only)
* Vampiress

Pitying
Players can decide to let defeated npc's go without doing anything extra, which usually resets the npc's favour score back to "friendly" territory, then increases it by 1.

Non-Pitiable NPC's
* Shopkeeper (If the player has any stolen clothing)
* Patron

Taxing
Players can demand items from npc's they've defeated, which has a side-effect of increasing the npc's level by and decreasing their favour score by 1.

Non-Taxable NPC's
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Demoness
* Xavier
* Wench (Specifically, the
desperate wench
)

Dominant Sex
If the player has access to their genitals, they can try dominating NPC's they have defeated. All npc's have a chance to refuse and then punish the player for even trying, but if the player can somehow overcome (or perhaps suppress) their bottom energy, they will get a short scene that usually ends in a dignity boost, an orgasm, and a Delicateness decrease. See Dominant Sex.

MG: Added more details on npc logic

* Flight
* Sex
** if the player is kneeling, npc's will also react the same way if the player is masturbating
* Dildo Pole
* Caged
* Stuck in a Trap (besides a cage or a dildo pole)
* Player is busy

* Dick Detachment
** Chance of happening if the npc is a Dick Detacher.
* Latex Punishment
** Only if the player is at level 5 Latex Transformation or higher.
* Use Pullstring Collar
* Recover Stolen items
* Bondage Application
* Unique Punishment
* Sex Attempt

* Oral sex
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Oral
* Anal sex
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Anal
* Vaginal Sex
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Vaginal
* Licking Sex
** Requires that the npc be Willing to do Licking
** Grossness Fetish must be enabled.
* Titfucks
** Requires the npc be Willing to do Titfucks
* Riding/Handjobs

* Titfucks
** If the player's chest is covered by any clothing that protects the player's breasts, that clothing must be eitehr displacable or able to be torn off.
* Anal Sex
** If the player's ass is covered by clothing, it must be at least one of the following:
*** Rippable
*** Able to be torn off (i.e. not Indestructible)
*** unzippable (only for intelligent monsters)
Vaginal Sex

* Unlock Locked Clothing.
* Clothing is weakened.

Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

accuracy_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

blind_accuracy_offset = sum of two random numbers between 0 and 6

combat_speed_modifier = random number between 1 and the internal modifier for combat speed

level_threshold = monster level + 6

sight_accuracy
=
level
+
accuracy_offset

blind_accuracy
= (
level
+
blind_accuracy_offset

Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

power_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

strength_roll
=
level
+
power_offset

Special Attacks
Almost every npc has a couple special attacks they can use instead of generic ones. Some of them work similarly to generic attacks but do more damage, and some of them have additional effects like the Deep One's lightning bolt. NPC's will try to hit the player with these attacks using a variety of accuracy, strength, and intelligence rolls.

Intelligence Rolls
Intelligence rolls are mainly used with npc special attacks, especially in the Mansion region. Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

mental_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

intelligence_roll
=
level
+
mental_offset

Defeating NPC's
When the player defeats an npc, and there are no other dangerous npc's nearby, they will be presented with a few options for dealing with the monster. These responses are "taxing", "pitying", "banishing", and "dominating". Some npc's automatically handle the circumstances of their defeat.

Automatically Handled
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Robots
* Slut School NPC's
* Supporter NPC's
* Cultist NPC (Mindless cultists only)
* Xavier
** If the player has 3 or more magic power, knows divination, and has forced him to wear a condom through the seduction minigame, the player will get a chance to dominate him as well.
* Demoness
** If the player has 2 or more magic power and knows divination, they will have a chance to "pity" or dominate her as well.
* Herald
* Djinn

* Unintelligent NPC's
* Mechanic
** He still disappears forever when he transforms
* Patron
* Royal Guard (
prison guard
only)
* Vampiress

Pitying
Players can decide to let defeated npc's go without doing anything extra, which usually resets the npc's favour score back to "friendly" territory, then increases it by 1.

Non-Pitiable NPC's
* Shopkeeper (If the player has any stolen clothing)
* Patron

Taxing
Players can demand items from npc's they've defeated, which has a side-effect of increasing the npc's level by and decreasing their favour score by 1.

Non-Taxable NPC's
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Demoness
* Xavier
* Wench (Specifically, the
desperate wench
)

MG: MG moved page Arousal (Trap Quest) to Arousal (TF Quest): game renamed

Arousal is the most fluctuating stat in the game, going up and down a lot as various events occur. The main things that make it go up are sexual stimulation and later on, humiliation. Arousal will slowly cool down over time (as long as the player isn't being actively stimulated by something. While in the past, the player's maximum and minimum arousal levels were influenced by the player's raw Sex Addiction score (that is to say, the player's sex addiction before temporary modifiers are applied), sex addiction currently only influences the player's minimum arousal level.

Arousal has a few different impacts on the player. Low levels of arousal might be considered beneficial, as the lowest two levels of arousal increase the player's dexterity. However, starting from the second level of arousal, arousal gains will begin to decrease the player's intelligence (It is decreased by 1 for every 3000 arousal gained past the first 2000). Arousal also influences the way the game calculates the player's sex addiction score, and makes the player more likely to be affected by mechanics that can force the player to masturbate.

__TOC__

Minimum Arousal Calculation
TODO

Phrase Meanings
The phrase in the status bar corresponds to the following values:

* Fine: 0 to 1999
* Aroused: 2000 to 4999
* Horny: 5000 to 7999
* Very Horny: 8000 to 10999
* Extremely Horny: 11000 and 15000

Fine
At this level, the player isn't turned on.

Aroused
When the player reaches 2000 arousal, the status bar will change to say that the player is "AROUSED". At this level, the player gains an additional +2 Dexterity, gains access to the masturbation command, and will no longer refuse to kneel in the presence of hostile npc's.

Horny
When the player reaches 5000 arousal, the status bar will change to say that the player is "HORNY". At this level, the player gains an additional +1 Dexterity, loses -1 Intelligence (remember, the player will lose 1 intelligence for every 3k arousal gained past 2k). Besides stats, the player's arousal remove the ability to present their mouth or breasts for sex, gain Dexterity, and if mythical beasts are enabled, can activate the player's pheromones. Also, from this level on, the player will lose 1 Intelligence for every 3000 arousal they have.

Very Horny
When the player reaches 8000 arousal, the status bar will change to say that the player is "VERY HORNY". At this level, the player is much likelier to masturbate when entering a Summoning Portal, and they will almost always refuse to use their mouth or breasts for sex.

Extremely Horny
When the player reaches 11000 arousal, the status bar will change to say that the player is "EXTREMELY HORNY". At this level, the player is much likelier to masturbate when entering a Summoning Portal. When the player reaches the maximum of 15000 arousal, they will automatically begin to masturbate.

Erections
If the player has a penis, they have a chance to get an erection whenever they gain arousal. This chance goes up the more aroused the player gets, and goes down depending on Anal Sex Addiction, Erection Obedience Level, and how recent the player's last orgasm once. The player will lose their erection whenever they lose arousal or have an orgasm (usually).

While the player has an erection, npc's are more likely to touch the player's penis, and it is twice as hard for any given piece of clothing to cover up the player's junk. Depending on penis length, having an erection can also make the player more or less likely to succeed at dominant sex (larger erections being more helpful, smaller erections being detrimental).

Stimulation
One of the most common ways for the player to get turned on is for npc's to touch their body. Different body parts are more sensitive than others, and depending on the player's addiction levels, sensitivity levels can vary.

Passive Stimulation
Some types of stimulation will turn the player on, but cannot make the player cum. Often happens during dominant sex scenes that involve the player messing up in some way.

Orgasms
When the player gets aroused enough, they receive enough stimulation, or they experience a special event, they can have an orgasm. During an orgasm, the player's arousal will reset, and the player will ejaculate (if they have a penis).

Shameful Orgasms
A shameful orgasm happens when the player climaxes for some reason beyond their direct control, like magic or submissive sex. Even if the player contributed heavily to the conditions that led to the orgasm, like bending over in front of a Minotaur or masturbating in the middle of sex, the orgasm will still count as shameful if the thing that pushed the player over the edge was not under the player's control. Shameful orgasms will usually force the player to kneel, increase Sex Addiction, and as the name implies, humiliate the player.

Non-shameful Orgasms
There are two main ways for the player to orgasm in a non-shameful way.

The first way is Masturbation, which has a risk of making the player's future orgasms much harder to obtain in exchange for being very easy to do. If the player is in the middle of submissive sex and they are about to cum, masturbation can sometimes save the player from the consequences of a shameful orgasm. On the flip side, masturbating at the wrong time can cause the player to have a shameful orgasm they otherwise wouldn't have.

The second way is to have dominant sex. The player can often orgasm during dominant sex scenes, but depending on certain factors, there is still a risk of the player having a shameful orgasm instead of not cumming at all. Additionally, the player must defeat an npc before they can attempt dominant sex, and there is usually a chance of failure.

Ejaculation
If the player has a penis, they will ejaculate whenever they orgasm, producing cum that can stain the player's clothing or make a puddle on the floor. Players with very big penises ejaculate a lot, while players with very small penises will barely ejaculate at all.

Ability To Orgasm
Some items and game mechanics can prevent the player from having orgasms. This can be helpful if the player wants to avoid a shameful orgasm, but increases the chances that when an orgasm does occur, it won't be under the player's control.

MG: MG moved page Combat (Trap Quest) to Combat (TF Quest): game renamed

NPC Attacks
For most npc's, there are four things they can do during combat with the player: generic attacks, special attacks, tripping, and grappling. Generic attacks increase the player's Body Soreness, Tripping has a chance to knock the player over, grappling temporarily disables the player's ability to use some commands (including the slap command), and special attacks vary depending on the npc.

Attack Targets
Generic attacks and sometimes special attacks will target a specific part of the player's body. Possible targets include the player's face, hips, arms, belly, thighs, and breasts. Attacks aimed at the player's breasts will do extra damage.

Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

accuracy_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

blind_accuracy_offset = sum of two random numbers between 0 and 6

combat_speed_modifier = random number between 1 and the internal modifier for combat speed

level_threshold = monster level + 6

sight_accuracy
=
level
+
accuracy_offset

blind_accuracy
= (
level
+
blind_accuracy_offset

Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

power_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

strength_roll
=
level
+
power_offset

Special Attacks
Almost every npc has a couple special attacks they can use instead of generic ones. Some of them work similarly to generic attacks but do more damage, and some of them have additional effects like the Deep One's lightning bolt. NPC's will try to hit the player with these attacks using a variety of accuracy, strength, and intelligence rolls.

Intelligence Rolls
Intelligence rolls are mainly used with npc special attacks, especially in the Mansion region. Rolls are generated according to the following:

level = monster level

mental_offset = sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6

intelligence_roll
=
level
+
mental_offset

Defeating NPC's
When the player defeats an npc, and there are no other dangerous npc's nearby, they will be presented with a few options for dealing with the monster. These responses are "taxing", "pitying", "banishing", and "dominating". Some npc's automatically handle the circumstances of their defeat.

Automatically Handled
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Robots
* Slut School NPC's
* Supporter NPC's
* Cultist NPC (Mindless cultists only)
* Xavier
** If the player has 3 or more magic power, knows divination, and has forced him to wear a condom through the seduction minigame, the player will get a chance to dominate him as well.
* Demoness
** If the player has 2 or more magic power and knows divination, they will have a chance to "pity" or dominate her as well.
* Herald
* Djinn

* Unintelligent NPC's
* Mechanic
** He still disappears forever when he transforms
* Patron
* Royal Guard (
prison guard
only)
* Vampiress

Pitying
Players can decide to let defeated npc's go without doing anything extra, which usually resets the npc's favour score back to "friendly" territory, then increases it by 1.

Non-Pitiable NPC's
* Shopkeeper (If the player has any stolen clothing)
* Patron

Taxing
Players can demand items from npc's they've defeated, which has a side-effect of increasing the npc's level by and decreasing their favour score by 1.

Non-Taxable NPC's
* Unintelligent NPC's
* Demoness
* Xavier
* Wench (Specifically, the
desperate wench
)

Submissive Sex
When the player is on their knees, hostile npc's can intitiate sexual encounters with the player. These encounters last multiple turns, and as long as the npc is hostile, cannot end without the npc being satisfied, the player using their safe word, or somehow getting removed from the picture. The player can initiate multi-turn encounters with npc's on their own if they use the spread command, which will give them the option of ending things early, but there's always a chance that the player's partner becomes hostile in the middle. See Submissive Sex.
